Canadian bacon is boneless pork loin that has been brine-cured and smoked. Typically, it is sold sliced and ready for sautéing just like regular bacon but is also available in a solid piece that you can slice at home.
Melt in a large skillet over medium heat:
1 1/2 teaspoons butter or vegetable oil
Add:
2 or 3 slices Canadian bacon per person, 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick
Cook the slices, turning often, until browned and heated through, 3 to 5 minutes. Remove to plates and serve.
